Christmas '08

*My family, along with friends from the College of Saint Benilde and other relatives.*

This year, we were able to make 300+ kids really really happy!
Played parlor games and our own version of "Pera o Bayong" (or rather, bag.) The kid chose the bag with only Php50 but we insisted that he change his choice. So... he won Php2,000.
Special thanks to United Laboratories for donating Enervon HP and Enervon Bright for the kids and their parents.

These are the same kids who were affected by Typhoon Emong. Please help us help these kids and their families recover from this devastating event by donating money online. (See upper right hand portion of this site.) You can also email us at helpsmalltown@gmail.com or contact 0922.807.6939

Aftermath of Typhoon Cosme

17 May 2008
Another typhoon, Cosme, pounds Alaminos.

Went to the province with my mom, aunt, sister and cousin to give out relief goods for the residents of our barrio who were affected by the typhoon.
It took a month for the electricity to be restored... a year for the school to be rebuilt only to be destroyed again by Typhoon Emong.

It's just really sad.

To you, dear reader, I hope you can help us restore this town.
If you would like to make donations,
please email us at helpsmalltown@gmail.com or contact 0922.807.6939

Easter '08

This year, the Egg Hunt was moved back to our yard. More than 150+ kids! Whoo!
Gave away tons! Toys, shoes, bags, etc...

Each year just gets better and better!

One of the Barangay's officials and our caretaker,
Carlos Galarosa, instructing the kids on what they have to look for.

(Wasn't able to take a photo of the other side. Oops.)

In line according to age (and height?)

Run for it!

Looking for eggs (and destroying the plants hehe)

(Aww.. Can't find any.)
